About Me
I am a YA author of Geek Girl and Heart on a Chain. Both were published as indie books, but Geek Girl has been optioned by Cedar Fort Publishing, so it is currently unavailable, and will be re-released later this year. I have a third book in the works, and am hoping to release it later this summer. I live in Salt Lake City with my husband and two daughters - and our two dogs. I also have two sons who are grown. I co-host a podcast with one of my sons, RyTime! Geekcast, where we talk about all things geek. It's an absolute blast. I love to read (what writer doesn't?) when I have the time, which doesn't seem to be very often anymore. I'd love to see you all on my blog, FB or https://twitter.com/cinbennett" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Twitter. Follow me and I'll follow you. Cindy has written some fine things, her Geekcast is a great step forward and if you haven't gone there lately, give it a try.
I have reread and rewritten the book MovingWest nine times and finally published (am sure there will still be an error or two) If you get time to read it now in its complete state you can find it an createspace.com/3680727
I will be teaching a small class of folks who want to write. It is being held here in Alabama and I am considering posting the class outline in four parts on line here, what do you think?
HI Cindy
Is there room for another in your writer's group? I have two books published with two more ready to go. But my masterpiece (that's my own hypberbole) will be ready this fall. I am saving it to learn more about writing. This one, I really want to be a success. Your writer's group, I think would be a great help if it were possible. Many thanks Dave PS I like to put around on my Sportster. It's a 1200 but enough for my needs. Thanks again.
Sounds to me like you keep busy in a very productive way. I started a small group of writers but it fell apart quickly. I did belong to two others while in Florida and I still communicate with them. I have written and published ten books but none as well done apparently as Geek Girl...presently I write a column for The Lakeside Post, a local paper here in Guntersville, Alabama.
Looking forward to hearing more about you Cindy.
Friends are what the world needs more of, not make believe ones, but true friends from the heart.
It's great to find you here. I love this site. Sir Thomas had created such a nice setup. It's great to be among other authors. Now if I could only inspire people and sell a few books I'd really be estatic. (laughing) Thanks for joining us...
